RED VALERIAN

Centering have got valerian a plant of the subfamily , therefore people do it often
called " red valerian. But unlike the usual valerian centrante is not a treatment the
plant So yes widely used landscape in design and flower beds in formation .
Centrante is a perennial plant with umbrella-shaped RED PINK flowers. It can easily
be confused with true valerian, which usually has lighter pink to white flowers and
mottled leaves. Unlike red valerian, the pale flowers have a less prominent spike at
the back of the flower, rounder petals and three stamens that stand out noticeably.
Blooms from May to September, height 60-100cm. Red centrants are sown from
May to June. Centrantes seedlings are exhibited in a permanent place from August
to September at a distance of 40x50 cm. After cutting off the flowered inflorescences
- it blooms again. Sunny places are suitable for cultivation.
APPLICATION
Cooking
Young leaves - raw or cooked. They can be added to salads. The taste can be quite
bitter. The root can be used in stews or soups.
IN MEDICINE
Red valerian is often confused with true valerian (Valeriana officionalis), a famously
potent herb. Red valerian, or red valerian, is sometimes used for sleep and
relaxation, but has no proven medicinal properties.
