Manor parks and gardens as a cultural bridge in community education.

On May 31st, 2024, the project "Manor Parks and Gardens as a Cultural Bridge in Community Education," submitted by Lūznava Manor of the Malta Rural Territory Union (MRTU), was approved (Agreement No. 2024-1-LV01-KA122-ADU-00022391). The project aims to enhance knowledge and experience in preserving the manor park as cultural and historical heritage, fostering community development, engaging new target audiences through effective communication, and increasing local involvement in creating innovative offerings that support visitors' emotional and physical well-being in nature.

A key inspiration for this project was the newly developed infrastructure in Lūznava Manor Park (23.7 ha) – the Garden of Senses, featuring a thuja labyrinth, a future collection of herbs and aromatic plants, and a community gazebo. Through this initiative, we seek to deepen expertise in sustainable resource management, develop educational workshops on eco-friendly practices, and enhance community and visitor awareness in alignment with the EU Green Deal goals.
