A new project, “In Search of the Muse,” has been developed through the collaboration of five active young women and Lūznava Manor. This initiative invites 20 young people (ages 12–16) to participate in monthly events from March to August, promoting social inclusion, new friendships, and valuable experiences. The project aims to connect children from Rēzekne Municipality Special Primary School with local youth through creative activities and social gatherings. Each month, participants will engage in events such as movie nights, hikes, and workshops, fostering an inclusive and inspiring environment. The project will culminate in a three-day camp, where children and young people will enhance their skills and later apply them at the "Art Picnic" event, organized by Lūznava Manor, by leading their own creative workshops. To strengthen communication with the teenagers and ensure the project's success, each young project implementer will mentor four participants. These small groups will maintain regular contact beyond the planned joint activities.
The project is led by Lūznava Manor (a structural unit of the Lūznava Rural Territory Administration) and the Malta Rural Territory Union of Rēzekne Municipality, in collaboration with active young women. Financial support for the initiative is provided by the European Solidarity Corps, which empowers young people to contribute to building a more inclusive society by supporting the most vulnerable and addressing societal challenges. The program offers a positive and inspiring experience for those eager to help, learn, and grow.
